The story of Plain Jane's Garage Pole Classes

How it all began...

Plain Jane is based out of a small mountain town in the high desert. In our tightly knit, small community we have limited access to fitness or dance classes. Born from the need for expressive, movement - Jane (no, that’s not my real name) began traveling to nearby cities to learn pole, and bring back her new knowledge to share with the community...

Starting in the garage, they used whatever they could find to train: hammers, wrenches, and weight plates donated by friends.

The name Plain Jane started as Average Janes: inspired by the lovably grungy training gym from the movie Dodgeball.

Once the spark was lit - there was no turning back! Jane absolutely loves teaching pole and sharing the joy of self expression with others.

Now, Plain Jane’s down to earth, accessible style of teaching pole dance can be enjoyed by the masses via digital curriculum and classes. In person classes can be enjoyed by locals, via word of mouth. If you know about the google sheet, you know!
